Here at CAFE, we are passionate about giving back to our community. This is why several times a year, our staff and volunteers get together and conduct regular cleanup events in the neighbourhoods our dispensary stores are located in! As the last of the winter snow melts away, we find that the streets around the city are often littered with trash that is not just unsightly, but takes away from the experience of the neighbourhood. Our staff are highly dedicated to ensuring that the places we call home – Corso Italia, Bloor West, Harbord Village and CityPlace – are clean, pleasant and safe for all residents to enjoy.
This past weekend, our cleanup took place in CityPlace, a bustling community in downtown Toronto just steps away from attractions like the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium and the Rogers Centre. Our CAFE dispensary is located at 68 Fort York Blvd, right at the heart of things! On Saturday at noon, our team of staff and volunteers met at our dispensary and got ready to clean up. Armed with pickers, gloves and bags, our team set off in high spirits!
CityPlace is home to many businesses, and we are humbled to be the only one that regularly conducts cleanup efforts in order to keep our streets safe and clean. Throughout the afternoon, we received smiles, nods of approval and kind words from residents and other business operators in the neighbourhood. We are just happy to do our part!
