If you’re someone who loves going out and enjoying local arts and culture in Toronto, you simply must attend a Smokes & Jokes show. These monthly comedy shows take place at The Comedy Bar on Bloor St West, right across from CAFE at 932 Bloor St. Smokes & Jokes shows usually happen on the third weekend of each month, and feature a lineup of the city’s best comedians. In fact, many of our comedians have performed on Canadian and US TV shows, podcasts and streaming services, as well as countless local shows and festivals. We are pleased to host such amazing Canadian talent on our stage each month – we know our audiences love it too!
Smokes and Jokes shows are usually a full house – many guests purchase their tickets at CAFE, or online at The Comedy Bar website. Often, guests may choose to arrive and purchase tickets at the venue just before the show. The Comedy Bar is a cozy venue, with high tables and booths for patrons, and a full bar that also serves light snacks. This venue is a non-smoking one, but showgoers are more than welcome to consume their favourite cannabis flowers outside, before coming in to enjoy the show!
