We’re really into spring cleaning over here at CAFE. A couple of weeks ago, we ran the first of our community cleanup efforts this year – focusing on Toronto’s Corso Italia and Harbord Village neighbourhoods. These communities are home to two of our downtown Toronto dispensary locations, and have been home for years. In an effort to spark positive change and contribute to the well-being of our communities, we at CAFE undertake seasonal cleanups each year to ensure our streets are clean, safe and pleasant for all to navigate. And that time of year is right now!
Following our first clean up, Team CAFE hit the streets once again this past weekend – this time focused on Fort York CityPlace, and Bloor West Village. The sun was out in full force and so was the team! Our crew met up at our 68 Fort York Blvd, and 932 Bloor St locations at the assigned times, and consisted of CAFE staff members and community volunteers. We were all one team that day in our green CAFE tee shirts! Piece by piece, our team removed lots of litter cluttering up the streets in these neighbourhoods. We managed to fill a lot of bags with trash!
