We hope you all had a love-filled Valentine’s Day! Here at CAFE, ours was filled with laughs! We took part in a night of local comedy along with our friends at Cannabis Comedy Festival. The show took place at a cozy, intimate venue in Toronto’s Danforth Village, and featured local comedians that many in the scene are familiar with, and big fans of!
The show was another event in the recent trend towards cannabis-centred tourism in Toronto. As cannabis becomes increasingly popular, with more mainstream acceptance, many people have become interested in events that feature cannabis.
The Love Buds comedy show was certainly weed-friendly, with guests allowed to consume freely throughout the evening. CAFE was on hand with our finest premium pre-rolls, edibles and dried flower for show goers to enjoy.
Halfway through the evening, the show hosts called up a few audience members to participate in some impromptu games of rock-paper-scissors – with players competing to win one of four prize packs from CAFE!
The Love Buds show was a fantastic night of cannabis and comedy. The evening featured two back to back shows, both of which were fully sold out. Guests were in great spirits, loving the addition of cannabis to their evening, and appeared to be having a thoroughly enjoyable night. The comedians as well brought a vibrant energy to the stage, and had guests laughing heartily at their jokes.
