On Saturday, March 19, we had the pleasure of once again taking to the stage at Toronto’s famous Comedy Bar, with our lineup of fantastic local talent. For the third time in a row, tickets to our show were sold out in advance! With the city finally emerging out from under almost two years of lockdowns and other restrictions, the house was packed and the crowd buzzing with energy as our comedians hit the stage.
Saturday’s weather was sunny and bright – a perfect spring day that had the streets of Toronto bustling with happy people, out and about. Outside The Comedy Bar on Bloor St., patrons gathered in small groups, chatting with friends and awaiting the start of the show. At promptly 7pm, MC Drew Behm went up on stage, getting the show started. Guests found their seats in the cozy, candlelit room, ordered drinks and snacks off the venue’s app, and settled in for a night of side-splitting comedy from some of Toronto’s best comedic talent. The night featured Faraz Niafattah, Andrew Oporto, Crystal Ferrier, Ryan Hillis, Ronen and headliner Hisham Kelati. Each comedian absolutely rocked their set – the roaring laughter and thunderous applause from the crowd were a surefire indicator!
This night of comedy was hosted by CAFE, and our premium brand of pre-packed flower – Smokes & Jokes. Following the show, guests were able to show their tickets at our CAFE dispensary location across the street, at 932 Bloor St West, and receive 20% off any Smokes & Jokes product. What an awesome way to end the night!
